Galactica Death Watch, part 2

They’re setting a brisk pace this season.
This latest episode (“Faith”) sees the end of Jean Barolay by an angry Model Six. Barolay was one of Anders’ Buccaneers (the cute one), and he’s understandably pissed off at the Six for it, nearly shooting her in the head for her barbarism. A minor character only, perhaps, but offed in such a pointless way. Oh well.
And as if that wasn’t enough, they nearly kill Gaeta. He gets shot, but survives. I told ya: not dead until he’s outed. A lot of characters get shot in BSG, actually.
Wonder who’s next?
This sort of related. Reading up about some other potential victims minor characters I came across the the BSGWiki entry on Racetrack, the Raptor pilot with the long dark hair who discovered New Caprica. One of the interesting things about the character is the actress, Leah Cairns, incorporates elements of some non-canon erotic fan fiction into her character. Apparently Cairns and Tamoh Penikett (Helo) were reading the story at a party and she (maybe they) liked it enough to want to use it. According to Cairns, Racetrack is wildly attracted to Helo and jealous of Sharon. The actress plays to this in her scenes with Penikett. Can’t think of many Sci Fi shows where that happens. Read the fan fic to understand, part 5 is the Racetrack+Helo bit. Apparently the ladies all like Helo.

But no misbehaved towel scene, though I suppose Helo did get a girl to turn against her own people by making love to her in a forest during a thunderstorm. Not just any guy can make that claim.
Seriously though, where did they dig up so many attractive people?
