This one is for you Rob.
This is an LG P1 Express Dual – in bits. To gain access to the affected part required around 95% disassembly. The little silver jars are where I’m storing the some 60 screws that hold the thing together. As an interesting bit of trivia, the internal name for this product is ‘Rocky’, or so the service manual says. No idea why.

Hey!
While you’re at it, mind if you check the product number for LCD-cable? I’m having problems with my laptop, and they are probably LCD-cable related (display not working well in certain angles etc). I really don’t want to unscrew +60 screws only to check the number for finding spare parts.

You could always download the service manual.

True and I already did. But I need second confirmation that it really has that certain cable in it :-)
Btw, if you don’t need your cable anymore, I’m willing to buy it ;-)

Unfortunately, I had to put the thing back together so they could send it to LG. Not sure why they wanted to do that, some kind of trade-up thing, I think.
